Learn about us!
Empowering the next generation of diverse creators and community leaders through cinematic storytelling.
Upcoming Storytellers is a creative youth media program that centers young voices, especially those who are often overlooked. We connect students and young adults with top-tier equipment, real production sets, and mentors who work in the industry every day.

We’re not just teaching tech skills — we’re building confidence, leadership, and community through the art of storytelling.
Who Can Join?
Upcoming Storytellers
Upcoming Storytellers is open to students ages 13–18 who want to explore filmmaking, podcasting, photography, and digital storytelling.
No prior experience is required — our youth program is completely FREE.

Our next session runs in July 2026, and spots are limited to ensure every student receives hands-on mentorship. (Exact program dates will be released shortly)

We are also developing a Young Adult Program for ages 18–24, designed to offer advanced training and career-focused opportunities in filmmaking, podcasting, photography, and creative media. More details coming soon.

Why It Matters
Why This Work Matters

Access to professional gear, studio spaces, and creative networks is often limited — especially for students from underrepresented communities. Upcoming Storytellers closes that gap.

By pairing young people with working creatives, we:
-
Open doors to careers in media, film, and communications
-
Build confidence in public speaking, collaboration, and leadership
-
Help students see their lived experiences as powerful, valuable stories

When young people see themselves behind the camera, on the mic, and in the director’s chair, they start to see new possibilities for their future.

Crafting Unique Visual Experiences

How the Program Works
Our program combines teaching, hands-on practice, and real-world projects:

-
Workshops: Students learn the basics of cameras, lighting, audio, storytelling, and editing.
-
On-Set Experience: They rotate through roles like director, camera operator, producer, and talent.
-
Production Week: Students work together to create short films, podcasts, or campaigns from concept to final cut.
-
Showcase: We celebrate their work with a premiere-style screening and opportunities to share their projects with family, friends, and the community.

Many participants walk away with portfolio-ready pieces and a clearer idea of what’s possible in creative careers.

Be Part of the Story
